For Mark Tolley, there’s no time like now.
Last month, Tolley’s firm, B. Knightly Development & Construction, purchased the former Lone Star Brewery, which spans 23 acres at Probandt and Lone Star Boulevard, near the King William Historic District.
Tolley’s plan for breathing new life into the site calls for a mix of multifamily units, restaurants, a health club, a 250,000-gallon pool and perhaps a boutique theater.
Later this fall, as part of phase one of the project, B. Knightly will start construction on 190 residences. While the actual square-footage figures are still being determined, Tolley says that the selling price for these units will start at $129,000.
"Mark Tolley of B. Knightly Development & Construction has a big-budget plan to create some new buzz at the former Lone Star Brewery."
